Re: UROGYNECOLOGY: Orange particles after bladder repairFrom: Avalon (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 15 Sep 2007 20:11:14 -0500 (CDT)
I could probably establish telecommunication with someone by calling my surgeon's office line, but the only physician who's going to *see* me on a Sunday is an emergency physician. I don't think that's necessary, and I would prefer my surgeon assess this development, if it needs to be assessed. These are not routine urogynecologic symptoms; they're part of a postoperative picture and may signal a late complication of surgery. And, as it happens, I haven't even had my postop pelvic exam yet--only the incision has been examined. Really not a good time to get someone else involved, IMO. I'll see if I can contact his nurse on Monday. Meanwhile, I was just hoping someone might have a nugget of some sort that would give me a little peace of mind (or some information that would clearly indicate this needs to be handled more urgently).
