MENORRHAGIA: LARGE tissue mass during menstration,,,,From: Annie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 14 Sep 2007 13:16:19 -0500 (CDT)
My period has been irregular for 4 months now, and i thought it was just from stress (been moving, looking for new job, etc.) but now i am more worried. The last few months it has been lasting longer, about 3 weeks, and there is more tissue mixed in than normal. My period will start, then stop for a day or two completely, then begin again for the rest of the time. 2 days ago, I noticed a larger tissue mass. It was about the size of the round part on the top of a key (best comparison I could manage, sorry), was oval, and was solid. It wasn't hard, but still solid. I broke it open, and it was not filled with liquid, but actually tissue. Nothing like this has happened before at all. I am in a long term relationship and am wondering if it could just be my body recovering from a miscarriage of a pregnancy that I didn't know about? Since I just moved, the health insurance is still getting sorted out, which is why I haven't been to an office. Just seeing if this would help at all...Thanks!
