Hi, but I am 26 and was on Depo for nearly 14 years, originally due to irregular cycles and heavy bleeding. I made the decision to take my last shot in Feb. 2006 due to concerns about well-known bone growth supression and the fact that I wanted to have a child. I knew that it would take a while for my body to re-adjust, however, I knew several people who had taken Depo and conceived 1-6 months following. So, I waited that long to be closer to when I actually wanted to be pregnant- to allow myself to have control over the situation, I guess. However, here I am 18 months later, and still not pregnant and frankly getting a little discouraged. I'm not sure if this has helped, and I don't mean to scare or worry you any further, but that is my experience pertaining to your concern and topic.
