It is not normal to have severe pain after the described surgery for
rectocele and enterocele. Graft material can get infected, if there is
a fever you should seek help immediately. Try Hot Sitz baths in a few
inches of clean warm water to soak your bottom and reduce swelling and
pain. If it is not considerably better by tomorrow, seek help.
