Hello, I have hypothalamus amenorrhea. I went on birth control when I was 16 to get my period for the first time. In February of 2006, I went off the pill to start to have a family with my husband. After not getting my period for 4 months I started to see my doctor. I had a complete fertility work up done and everything has come back fine. I tried clomid for three months and nothing, not even a period. I then started to see a specialist. I started daily injections of Menopur. I had three cycles where I ovulated and we did insemination. I didn't get pregnant, but got my period each time. This has been an exhausting and emotional roller coaster for me and my husband. My specialist is now talking for us to in-vitro. I am really wondering if there is anything I can do naturally to try and get my period and ovulate? I produce a lot of eggs, so each cycle of injections has to be well monitored by my doctor. Producing a lot of eggs makes me a good candidate for in-vitro, but before I head down that road, I just wanted to get advice on what else I can do, if anything. Thank you!
