Re: UROGYNECOLOGY: Symptoms worse during ovulationFrom: Amy Rosenman, M.D. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 19 Aug 2007 11:08:13 -0500 (CDT)
Message posted on Amy Rosenman, M.D. behalf by: Hope, Women’s Health Forum Moderator It is likely to have increased sensitivity of "all things pelvic" during ovulation. There is an opening on the ovary to let the ovum (egg) out that can hurt and can cause a small amount of bleeding or fluid to drip into the pelvis. Prolapse itself does not get worse during ovulation.
