GENERAL: Birthcontrol/Period/Pregnant?

So I'm just going to start out by saying I'm a virgin. I've never had sex but I was fingered approx. end of April. His hands may not have been clean so I was worried. However, I've taken 7 pregnancy tests (all negative) and have not knowingly been in contact of sperm for these past months. (Ie: haven't been in bed with a guy)

However, my period for the month of july was non existent. This month, I started a watery sort of pink period with dark stringy blood on Thurdsay. It started out very light with just a few streaks on wed. and was heavy enough to stain a pad yesterday. Today is still questionable.

I went to my gyn on Wed. Who said that a pregnancy test was not required because I'd never had sex. I got Yaz birth control from her. She told me to start it the Sunday after I started my period... which would be today. But since this period isn't normal, should I wait until next Sunday... or should I just take it?

Also, since I have not knowingly been in contact with sperm AND I've had 7 negative pregnancy tests, the last being last Monday (yes. I am paranoid) I couldn't be pregnant right?

Also... I spotted for two days on August 5/6 which my gyn said was normal since I skipped my period for July.

Anyways, should I start my birth control this evening?
