I would recommend seeing a gyn or urogyn or urologist who is familiar
with Interstitial cystitis. It is treatable medically (Elmiron), and
with diet modification, can be triggered by a bladder infection but
continues long after the infection is healed. Elmiron and bladder
instillations of medication can treat this condition if this is what you
have and it sounds suspicious for this.
