You have done a good job of categorizing the possibilities. Add
rectocele, or bulge of rectum into vagina. When one area of prolapse is
repaired another may "show up". If the bulge of tissue is truly through
the anal opening,a colorectal specialist can differentiate between
hemorrhoids and true rectal prolapse. The treatment is different. Best
