Hi Melissa, Thank you for taking the time to respond. I am familiar with PCOS, my best friend has it and is on Metformin for it, but do not think that I fit the mold for that. I'm not overweight, but at the high end of normal but I do gain weight VERY easily. I do not have excessive hair growth, I have very good blood pressure. I have hair loss (not balding, but the loss seems abnormal), and irregular cycles. I tend to think that my thyroid is not functioning as it should. I believe I have read a connection with thryoid disorders and cycle irregularities as well as weight control issues. I'm very willing to look further into the PCOS and see if a Gyno thinks I fit the bill for it and get tested, if needed. I just don't think I fit the bill for the symptoms that are listed for PCOS.

I do try to keep a log of my symptoms, though I'm sure I miss things.

Thank you again for your reply! Carolyn
