Let me start off by saying that I am not a doctor, lol, or a medical professional, BUT, it sounds to me like you are describing some symptoms of PCOS. Have you been tested for this? http://www.obgyn.net/pcos/pcos.asp?page=/pcos/articles/whatispcos this is a great article here on obgyn.net that explains alot of what PCOS is. There are many ways PCOS can be treated, including the use of an oral birth control pill to regulate cycles, since most women with PCOS do not ovulate, the pill helps to regulate their cycles. PCOS has no cure, and basically, as far as I know, right now, doctors are only able to treat the symptoms and not the illness as a whole. the article will also give you some other symptoms of PCOS that you may not even connect to a gyn problem. hope this helps. Really, the best way to go into a new gyn is with a laundry list of your symptoms, if you notice they happen more often during a certian spot in your cycle, then write that down. as Pat says, calander EVERYTHING, lol....
