It is possible that was your period. It is possible you took the test too soon. If you have switched from a regular birth control method to nothing, that can change the lightness of your period too. Act 'as if' you are pregnant, look for pregnancy symptoms, and take another test if you start having symptoms. Learn all you can about your fertile days, track those, and if you ovulate this month coming up, then you aren't pregnant.
