1. The breast tenderness is more than likely due to the natural hormonal changes that occur before menstruation...namely the estrogen and progesterone hormones. Some women have less discomfort if they decrease affine before their periods, and watch for extra salt in their diet.

2. A Retroverted uterus is just a different position of the uterus and most likely doesn't interfere with conception. YOu might try a different position for intercourse where you have more control, such as you on the top vs your partner on top. This lessens the pressure on you. It is the cervix that is tilted in a different way that causes the discomfort, but this is actually very common and is a very minor issue in regards to fertility.
