The key is knowing when you ovulate, associated with the luteal phase. http://www.ovulation-calendar.com/hlp-d04-luteal-phase.html Do a web search for luteal phase and luteal phase dysfunction and you will find more than enough information. It is possible that there is an issue with this part of your cycle, that could benefit from further investigation.

It is not unusual, however, to have different lengths of cycles, as the ovaries seem to alternate functioning, and each month might be a bit different. That is why it is helpful to track your cycles, so that when you see your OB provider, you will hive that information already.
