It appears to me that they are doing all of the tests to collect information about you before starting you off with medications. That seems like a very logical thing to do so that they can identify if there is a problem or not that is making it hard for you to conceive. YOu also need to ask them about what tests they are doing, and why, and how many more tests you will need. I am sure they have information sheets for you, and should be explaining each test as you go along. I know its a long process, but appropriate screening is very important. There are also some good books on the topic, so you might see if your local library has one on fertility tests. Also, there are several other great books, listed below.
