GENERAL: problems in my nethers

My boyfriend and I just recently started having sex, we're both first timers... We take all the proper precautions, I'm on birth control, he uses a condom, we wash up before we do anything, he keeps his shorts on until the condom is on...we are very careful.

We've been sexually active for a little over a week now and last night after we had intercourse, I noticed that the right side of my vulva was swollen and a bit tender so, I had a shower and gently washed myself and I was fine. This morning, though, when I went pee, my urine had a burnt smell and was dark, this has happened to me before, usually when I'm dehydrated or I have a bladder infection, my doctor tells me I'm fine and to drink cranberry juice. and then later this afternoon, I went to pee again, and this time there was a somewhat fishy smell, which has never happened before.

I have no unusual discharge (which, as far as I can find, is supposed to accompany this smell), I had a yeast infection six years ago ( which means I can't explain the swelling of my vulva, and I'm not sure what to do.

I'm going to go to the health clinic because I can't get an appoinment with my docotr for another month and a half, so hopefully they can solve my mystery, I was just hoping for some insight.

Thanks so much
