Re: PREGNANCY: late period

I decided to take another test this morning with "first morning urine" and I saw a faint positive line that went away. Then later in the day my period came. With it I have cramps like normal but also a lot of nausea and intestinal issues. I thought that the period meant I'm not pregnant but at dinner was talking to a friend who said her best friend is 12 weeks pregnant and had a period the first month. Is that possible?
