Has the pregnancy been confirmed with an ultrasound, as being within the uterus vs being in a tube for example. If you are having pelvic pain, that needs to be checked out. Early pregnancy shouldn't be 'painful'.

One can have low pubic type pain, indicating small contractions and feeling like a bladder infection, but not 'constant pain' like you are describing. I would push for more evaluation, and let your OB provider know you are concerned. If he is not sensitive to your concerns, you might consider finding someone else. I do not believe pelvic pain like you are describing is normal in pregnancy.
