Hi, I had TOT sling and cytocele repair 9 weeks ago. Pretty much within a week of surgery I developed rectocele. It went from a Stage 1 at five weeks post-op to an advanced Stage 2 as of last Friday. Now I also developed an enterocele. My ob was very surprised to see it advance that fast and wanted to refer me to a specialist for more surgery. I am 36, had two vaginal deliveries w/ episiotomies (in 2002/2004) plus have a very strong history of pelvic organ prolapse. I will be fitted with a pessary tomorrow until I decide on another surgery. I would like some input on rectocele repair with biological grafts and synthetic mesh.
