This is an interesting problem. I do not know of a way to decrease the amount of cervical mucous. I will be interested to hear of any of the other professionals have a suggestion. I suspect it is hormonal, and will change as you reach menopause and your cycles change. I have not heard of it being associated with any specific abnormality, and haven't heard of a specific treatment that might decrease the mucous. The only concern seems to be with fertility, and the quality of cervical mucous.
