ENDOMETRIOSIS: Advice NeededFrom: Lynn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 19 Jul 2007 06:05:50 -0500 (CDT)
Endo sufferer for many years - 1998 removed R ovary, cervix, uterus - 5-07 removed Left Ovary, adhesions scar tissue and endo, rectocele and bladder sling surgery - of course suffering the menapause - family history of osetoperosis (mom) Osteo- arthritis (grandmom) - no endo found in culd-de-sac (was shocked as I KNOW that endo rectal pain) - hot flashes, night sweats REAL BAD put on premarin started at .3 then went to .425 then to .65 -- horrible extremely painful rectal pain - went back to .425 as told that obviously there was missed endo in the culd-de-sac that is by a nerve and the .65 premarin is feeding it - backed down to the .425 - rectal pain is back along with forgetfullness, joint pain, general ill feeling - I know it is soon from surgery HOWEVER i want another doc to go in and find the endo near the nerve in culdesac as I am scared that any amount of estrogen I take even minimal will feed it (I picture it like pac man eating) - These rectal pains are so severe and intense that I get dizzy from them - any imput would so greatly be appreciated I feel so lost
