Is it possible to get an internal vaginal tear during sex? What is the nature of it usually and what would management be? I'm afraid that I might have done so a few weeks ago, and posted a question but got no answer. I've been trying not to have sex for the last 4 weeks b/c of it, but have done so although infrequently, and sometimes have had some bleeding with it, other times not. I'm afraid that if I'v emanaged to cause a tear, I may have made it worse, and wondering whether something like this can cause a prolapse or '-lapse' of the wall of the vagina and whether you would feel this (or whether my imagination has been hyperactive!). Please help! I find it very difficult to get myelf to a doctor.
