Another thought is a retroverted uterus, meaning the uterus is curled around backwards instead of frontwards. Sometimes this is more noticeable after a pregnancy, and sometimes it is worse before a pregnancy. It has to do with the position of the cervix, and the penis pushing against it.

Your best bet is to get a pelvic exam and most likely other visual tests to see what the problem might be. Don't be afraid to seek another opinion.
