Re: CHRONICPAIN: pelvic painFrom: April (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 5 Jul 2007 19:20:45 -0500 (CDT)
Stacey, Here are a couple of things that I have that mimic some of your symptoms. You are having bacterial infections-if they can detect blood in your urine-you should have a simple x-ray done to confirm you do not have kidney stones. I have lived with a 6mm stone in my ureter-for possibly 18 months, and there are few things more painful-but so easy to diagnose-a simple x-ray or a CT Scan can diagnose this (so please look into this possibility first). Next-I have had endometriosis (diagnosed for 11 years)-pelvic pain-bloating-painful sex-painful urination-pressure-back pain-leg pain-all very common with this disease-unfortunately there is no cure, and to diagnose the disease you have to have surgery-a laparoscopy. There is an endometriosis forum on this site as well-so once you see your doctor about a lap-post there for advice as well. Hopefully this helps at least a bit.
