I have had both chronic bv and yi and the only thing that took care of
the bv was MetroGel. I recently had to go on antibiotics for a teeth
operation and my doctor said to make sure I take 20-30 billion cells of
a probiotic daily with food... while on the anti-bios and for about a
week after. I have been doing that for almost two weeks now (one week
of anti-bio and then the week after) and haven't really had any
problems. You may want to talk to your doctor about it.
Good luck!
