CHRONICPAIN: pelvic painFrom: sls (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 4 Jul 2007 23:00:46 -0500 (CDT)
for the past 5 years i have had chronic pelvic pain, retain water, chronic infection,Vaginal bleeding after intercourse, chronic ovarian pain, Low backache 1 or 2 days before the start of the menstrual period, fever during period, irregular periods,Pain during intercourse and after intercourse, and lower adamonal pain. I have had mri, cat scan, ultra sound internal and external, have had just about every medication out there for every problem you could think of. i have had many abnormal paps and i have had one child in 1991 and have not been able to get pregnet since. this has taken over my life and they still dont know what it is. almost once a month i get some kind of infection at one point every month in one year they told me i had pid after the 12th month i asked how i get that every month when i wasnt haven sex they finally said we dont really know what you have you just get massive internal infections. if i have sex i am in pain for at least a week and i almost always get an infection. im only 27 and every doctor i see thinks they can fix it and put me on more meds and more tests and it never gets fixed. i have now had a bacterial infection for 6 months and meds are not helping at all. i only have 1-5 periods a year and now i get fever and fill like i have the flu with them i evan bleed after a pap smear and sometimes get an infection.. any advise...
-- thank you stacy
