Leandra,

I am not a medical professional; however, I do know that your husband will always carry the HPV virus. You have also been exposed and surely carry the virus. The main concern for men is genital cancers, albeit this is very rare. The main concern for women who carry the virus is cervical cancer. It is important that you have yearly pap smears and gynecological exams.

I have not understood that the virus affects a man's sperm count. I could be wrong. I do not believe that the virus inhibits a woman's ability to conceive.

There is no cure for HPV itself, but condylomata can be treated and it can return at anytime.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
