CHRONICPAIN: Pain in abdomin and doctor situationFrom: Stephanie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 28 Jun 2007 18:41:56 -0500 (CDT)
Got of pill this year (6 mths ago) since my husband and I wanted to start trying for children. I was on pill for 10 years prior. About 6 weeks ago, I started having pain/aches/throbbing/irritation mainly all over my abdomin (more of left side though), all around my hips, and lower back. It hurts to sit down somedays, walk fast, if someone tapped me on my side, speed bumps, etc. It seems my pain is worse near ovulation, but I have had not had one day of no discomfort since it started. I have seen my gyno twice, primary once, and urologist once...had an ultra sound, catscan, urine samples, bloodwork, etc but no one can find anything yet. I was told if the pain does have something to do with my reproductive organs, the only person who could look further is a Reproductive Endocronologist. But her patients are people who have been unsuccessful conceiving after a yr. So if Im not suppose to see her and my gyno does not have anything else she can do, who do I see to dig deeper? I feel like there should be a doctor in between? Or maybe I am with the wrong set of doctors? Any advice?
