I am on birth control, and my periods are usually only a few days due to
this. It did seem like a period, although that would have been right in
the middle of my cycle (and very long). I have always had fairly normal
cycles and had my last period, on time, right before the procedure was
done. I talked to my doctor during the week while I was bleeding and
she said not to worry, that was normal due to the scab coming off, etc.
which made me believe it wasn't my period. The bleeding wasn't heavy,
but it was also more than just spotting.
