Yes, a preg test can be positive, and your still miscarrying. When the conception first starts the hormones are secreted. But, if the pregnancy doesn't continue, the hormones stick around for awhile. The blood tests are done to compare levels. 22 is pretty low, and you would want them to increase to see if the pregnancy is viable. Also, they might do an ultrasound to check things out also.
