Re: CONTRACEPTION: Help! terribly nauseated on the Yaz pill, about to D/CFrom: A (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 23 Jun 2007 23:16:00 -0500 (CDT)
Although consider a low dose form, whatever, the begining doses are highest doses, thats how the pill works, it is possible that in the next week it could get better but from the sounds of it I dont think you can tolerate it, and then have to go through it again starting a new month again. Yes you can stop at anytime. Your body adjust from that time period accordingly. I certainly am not a supporter of IUD devices even the newly marketed IUC (Mirena) because of the tissue damage it causes, if you have ever scene photos of what the IUD does, it is awfull, basicly it cause an irritation in the lining like an ulcer (it is a foreign object). Not sure considering all your other circumstances but you/husband may want to consider tubal ligation if you have no tolerance to pills. You can also cryo freeze your egg/sperm for later on if needed instead of undoing the ligation in the future. There is always condoms to get by for now untill your sure about deciding on children.
