Re: EMOTIONAL: I don't understand what has happened to meFrom: A (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 23 Jun 2007 22:53:34 -0500 (CDT)
My .02, get off the Celexa, for starters it does not sound like it is helping any. I would trust your gut instinct. Something is wrong. Obviously your body is telling you and your listening. If you have not done so already I would seek a second opinion. But get off the Celexa if you feel that it has not helped. It kind of sounds like a bad anesthetic reaction but its 2007, a year later, so that is not it. A historectomy involves moving your guts around in your belly (intestine), although highly unlikey, if the intestines are disturbed to such a degree that causes a twist or kink if you will, THAT could cause serious problems, could be responsible for your bowel problems. A simple barium procedure to see the digestive tract to check for any abnormalities is perhaps the easiest way. Naturaly all your blood work should be checked, normaly thyroid are standard, but there are a variety of of thyroid tests so unless you run the whole gamut of thyroid tests you can never fully rule that out. Finnal note, sometimes hormones can get the best of anyone, especially if one has never experience them. Come period time I can be very emotional crying for no reason. Does not happen too much or too long, but never the less, I just feel over come with saddness.
