The birth control pill creates artificial periods, so you really can't consider them your 'normal'. It sounds like you either have very long cycles (34 days), or perhaps even skipped a period. Keep tracking them. If you aren't using any birth control, pregnancy is always an option. By tracking your cycles, and learning the SS of ovulation, you can have a lot of control and knowledge about how your body works.

If you are actually skipping a period, that needs further investigation, such as about PCOS as we have talked before. But, 34 days can be a normal, very long cycles. This would mean that you ovulate later in your cycle, not in in the middle as is the usual. 34 days actually is a normal for some folks.

I was confused by your question...are you using the IUD, or are you using nothing. You also might have different cycle lenghts....longer one month and shorter the next. Tracking your cycles and learning the SS of ovulation will help if you want to prevent a pregnancy, or control when you conceive.
