It's a little swollen, but I can't feel any lumps. I assumed it was because of my impending period, but it hasn't gone away. And I rarely get sore breasts anyway. This morning when I tried to put my bra on it hit the sore area and hurt very bad. It kind of feels similar to the way an infected duct felt when I was breastfeeding, but on my nipple. Could this be an infected gland? I don't want to run to the doctor for no reason but I'm concerned because I'm entering the age where cancer is more of a risk. Thanks!
