GYNECOLOGIC: Ablation questionsFrom: Eileen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 12 Jun 2007 22:55:48 -0500 (CDT)
I had a roller ball ablation surgery 2 yrs ago for excess bleeding during my periods. I went to the gyn for my yearly pap and was told that my cervex had some discharge. She wanted to do a ultasound and biopsy. I received a call later on in the day that she now wants to put me on some hormones to make the bleeding increase for the ultasound. No hormone levels were taken and when I asked why I was told this was the course of action that she wants to take as she is worried about my health. I need answers before starting this course. Where do I start and what questions should I be asking. She will not give me an answer she just says that this is something that I need to do. I am 45 with no period since the ablation. I do NOT want to start that up again.
