MENORRHAGIA: VERY irregular periods and painFrom: Raechel (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 11 Jun 2007 19:56:02 -0500 (CDT)
I am 27 years old and seem to have a lot of problems with my period. Well, how I do not have my period. I got my first period when I was 14 years old, and since then, I may have had it a dozen times. I have been to a few different OBGYNs and no one can seem to find out what is wrong with me. I have had internal ultrasounds, tons of bloodwork, paps, you name it! All I have been told is that everything is ok. Does that mean I am just lucky? Also, I have no sexual drive and when I do have intercourse, the day after is like the first day of a period. I bleed and cramp all day for a few days. I really don't think it is timing. I want to have kids soon and I am afraid that I won't be able to have them. I am apparently allergic to birth control, (I almost had a heart attack at 19 and apparently the birth control was the cause) so I cannot take them to regulate the period. I am running out of options. HELP!
