MENOPAUSE: Estring Placement HELP!

I was just prescribed an Estring and cannot seem to place it correctly. The instructions say to place it as far back in the vagina as possible. I have tried this over and over again. How far back is it supposed to be? Further than a finger length? I can insert mine as far back as possible but it instantly moves back so it is sitting right at the opening to the vagina. I am so frustrated with this! I do not have a uterus or cervix, could this be the reason it won't sit right?
