CHRONICPAIN: transvaginal ultrasound

Hello,

I was supposed to have an ultrasound of my ovaries today, but the woman who made the appointment apparently thought it was for one of my bladder so she didn't tell me to have a full bladder beforehand for the abdominal ultrasound. It also turns out my doctor had ordered a transvaginal one as well. :( I was on my period, and since my bladder wasn't full i was going to have to wait anyways, so i rescheduled. Anywho, the tech was male and now i have an appointment scheduled for next week and i really don't want a male to do it. Do you think it would be weird to call and request a female? Sorry for the dumb question, but I am really shy and self conscious ;x
