I'm 22 weeks pregnant with #3 and about a week ago started getting a severe rash that started on my belly around the belly button and has now spread all over my body. It is incredibly itchy and I've been told that it is PUPPP. I've had PUPPP with my first pregnancy at about week 36. I did not have it with my 2nd. Is is common to get PUPPP this early on in pregnancy and can it spread to the face? I have noticed that it is starting under my eye and on my cheek. It seems to be more severe this time around. Will it run it's course after a few weeks or will I be miserable until delivery? Please help! I'm seeing my OB in 1 week for the first time, so am kind of at a loss right now whether it truly is PUPPP.
