I am 41 yo and have had a tubal. I went on Loestrin back in March just to get rid of my heavy cycle long enough to get thru a cruise we are going on in June. Well, last week I started bleeding (havent missed any pills) on sunday. Heavy enough to wear pads everyday! My ob nurse said my body just needs to have a period. thanks alot! I quit taking the current pack on friday of last week, hoping to have another cycle this week and will be done soon. We leave to go on the cruise in 2 weeks. Will this period ever end. It is now tuesday, still bleeding....... If I had know this was a major side effect, I would have never messed with it. I am just praying it will stop before the cruise.
