I would say that you have classic symptoms of a kidney infection, kidney stone or UTI. The stone wouldn't cause fever per se. Most certainly this has nothing to do with your birth control. Please see your Dr. and have a urine culture, if negative a CT scan might be warranted to rule out stones.
