Re: CHRONICPAIN: Ovarian cystectomy nearly 2 weeks ago -- still in pain. What if it does not go away?

I am so sorry you are still in pain. It may be that you have formed adhesions around that ovary. I had an abdominal hysterectomy followed by 2 laps to remove adhesions and ultimately the left ovary which had become adhered to my pelvic side wall. Once the ovary was removed I felt better. This was a total of 8 months following my TAH.

You, however, are still early in your recovery. Everyone takes a different amount of time to heal. Give it a few weeks and if you still don't feel better talk to your dr. and explore options for pain relief. Take it easy and see how you feel in a couple of weeks. Good Luck.
