GENERAL: Burning, tannish vaginal discharge one week post laparoscopic surgery - Normal?

I am 8 days post laparoscopy with ovarian cystectomy, hysteroscopy, D&C, and thermal endometrial ablation. I have had vaginal discharge since the procedure, but for the last few days I have had moderate vaginal discharge that is primarily a light tannish color (like baby shampoo) but also mixed with brown, yellowish, and spots of pinkish discharge at time. It is starting to be burning in nature and it is getting heavier. Is this normal? I hate to call and bother the doctor if this is something normal and trivial. If this were an infection, wouldn't I have some sort of fever? I was not too worried until it started burning.

Thanks for any insight or help!
