I have an inflammed cervix, intercourse is VERY painful, feels like he is twisting my inside up and ripping them out. Have had pain for about 15 years. Use to be in certain positions, now in every position. Had pad test, everything alright, no infections. Was referred to obgyn, took bioposies from outside cervix and in, was very painful, no results back yet. Gave me antibiotic cream for 10 days even though he doesn't think it's an infection, it's just giving me cramps. He wants to freeze my cervix to see if that helps, if freezing didn't help, he said hysterectomy, I am going for secong opinion on June 11. I am not having my cervix froze unless they know what it is and even then would rather have hysterectomy. Had cervical dysplsia, CIN III in 2003, had laser surgery, he thinks it could be from surgery(he didn't do my surgery). Had check up from doc who did surgery said everything was heeling well. Had paps every 6 months for two years, then every year since and everything is showing up normal, no infections or dysplasia. My cervix looks like it needs a skin graft, very red, raw, swollen looking, the opening to my cervix is where the pain is coming from, doc stuck big Q-tip in there and the pain was instantly there, immediately started shaking and tears came to my eyes. Have some discharge, yellow looking, no itching or smell to it. Noticed last two months day or two before period starts, getting bad back lower back ache. Gave birth to one child in 1999, use that gel stuff on me to get labour started, three applications, handled labour well, no pain meds until 9 1/2 cm ( laughing gas) and that was just to stop me from pushing. Labour was very fast, tore quite bad. I'm only 33,5'3/4" and 117 lbs, gave birth to 6lb 14oz baby, had on pap from NP and she was surprised that I delivered naturally as I am very petite. Seems strange that after used gel on me I now have trouble with cervix, could it be that? I've been on the pill for about 16 years, any suggestions to ask new obgyn or things it could be would be very helpful. Sorry so long want to give you as much info as possible. Thank you.
