MENOPAUSE: Trying to avoid multiple surgeries

Hi, I've been getting ovarian cysts off and on for years. It's always watched with ultrasounds every 3-4 months. My MD now wants to remove one because its suspicious (has echoes). She also had me take a CA125 which was 55. (I had one a year ago - 25) If she goes in to remove the ovary, which she plans to do, I want her to do everything else since I'm 45 and don't need all of it anymore and it's caused my nothing but problems anyway. I plan on taking natural hormones. No problem, right? The concern I have is that if I have endometriosis, which I believe I do and always have, and all lesions are not removed, and I take HRT, isn't that going to present a problem? The endo. feeds off of estrogen. I guess my question is, should I go through with the hyst? Should I go to a specialist who deals only with endo? I have no ploblem having a full-on hyst., I just don't want to have more problems after surgery than before. And I don't want two surgeries. And if i can't take the HRT, I'm going to be thrust into instant menopause which is not what I want. Now I'm really confused and surgery is coming up in a couple weeks. I'm trying to avoid having to go thru surgery more than once. You know, once for the hyst., then for the endom. OR once for the cyst, then for the endom. then for the hysterectomy, etc. One surgery is all I want to sign up for!
