The endometrium, which is what the menstrual period is, can appear like tissue. AS long as it was just a one time thing, small amount. I would just track it and keep a calendar if it happens again. If you were/are hemorrhaging, that is a different story.

You are correct...while breastfeeding you can have scanty periods, or short periods or no periods. I would just continue to keep an eye on it. It sounds relatively normal to me.
