GENERAL: A Couple questionsFrom: MJ (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 4 May 2007 06:25:58 -0500 (CDT)
I have never really had what one would call regular cycles. I've been tested for several different causes. My Gynocologist at the time never told me the result of those tests, which I assumed at the time that it meant that things were normal. A few years ago I had an incident where, I was in a stressful situation and my period started suddenly. When it started a oval shaped clot (or what I assumed it to be) came out. I bled for two weeks after this. Now, older and a bit more to the wiser I wonder if instead of a stress caused cycle beginning, It had not been a miscarriage. I was sexually active at the time. And during those two weeks there was a time when I bled so heavily I was tired and dizzy and at one point did not get out of bed but to call off work that day. Could this have been a miscarriage? If that is a possibility is there a test that I could find out more definitely? Or is it too late for all that.
