I think it REALLY depends on what they are doing. After my first two laps., the first of which had extensive endo., I was back to feeling myself in about5 days. However, I just had one three weeks ago, and besides removing endo a tumor was taken off of one of my ovaries, and I am still a little achey at times. Also, I was out of work for two weeks. Since everyone and every case is different, I recommend you asking your doctor's office how much time they think for you. This time my doctor had told me to plan on being out of work about 2 weeks.

Good luck!
