PREGNANCY: ruptured membranes and leaking amnioctic fluidFrom: mommahatfield (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 16 Apr 2007 23:19:25 -0500 (CDT)
I recently found out that at 13 - 14 weeks of my pregnancy I broke my water bag. They did not figure this out until now that Im 18 weeks. So I have been leaking amnioctic fluid for a month and there is very low fluid surrounding the baby. I had to pick one of 3 choices. 1. terminate the pregnancy 2. moderate bedrest or 3. complete bedrest. They told me and my husband that there is a very low chance that the baby will make it to 24 weeks. and if it did i would be admitted into the hospital for daily observation. I just want to know if anyone has gone through something like this or if some one could give me some information or just theyre opionion of what they would do. thanks
