PREGNANCY: Endometriosis and Clomid

Hi. I have been diagnosed with endometriosis for 8 years, I am 28 years old. I have tried to get pregnant for two years, after having surgery with Dr. Albee at the CEC in Atlanta two and a half years ago. Since I had no luck, my doctor did an HSG test and semen analysis on my husband and put me on clomid. I did my first round last month, got my first positive on an ovulation predictor kit ever, but was unsuccessful as my period started last night. The good thing is that my period started two weeks and two days after I got the positive on the OPT, so I am pretty sure that I ovulated. (My periods have not been normal ever, and since my surgery with Dr. Albee, they have been very infrequent.) During the HSG procedure, the doctor had a very difficult time getting the cathedar past my cervix and later diagnosed me with cervical stenosis. After my obgyn got the results, she said she wanted me to try with the clomid for 3 months, and if I am still not pregnant, she is going to dilate my cervix and then I can do 3 more months of clomid. My question is: Is this the best course of action? Should I wait to have my cervix dilated until I have used the clomid for 3 months considering she will only let me use it for 6 months total, or should I insist on having my cervix dilated now? Thank you for any advice you can offer!
